INTRODUCTION

MISSION PATHWAY history begins in November 1999, with its publication of prayer guide Chinese edition by translating the daily prayer material from Global Prayer Digest. Over the years, Mission Pathway has been serving the churches, intercessors, prayer groups worldwide with its daily prayer profile for the unreached people group.

With the Global Prayer Digest's discontinued operation, in mid-2022 Mission Pathway formed its own editorial official by recruiting editors and writers to collect stories and do research in the prayer needs for the unreached. We believe that our careful observation and fact-finding enhance the content and strengthen our intercessors-readers. We work with various mission organizations and field workers to deliver up-to-date information for prayer.

With the growing demands, in October 2024, Mission Pathway offers its prayer guide in English.

MISSION PATHWAY focuses on intercession with some of the hardest-to-reach people groups in the world. Often there is not even one Christian among them, and few missionaries and churches have ever come to them. These people have never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel in their lives, and are in great need of brothers and sisters to intercede with one heart for a breakthrough in the Gospel in their region.

Myanmar Earthquake
Fundraising and Prayer Needs

Post earthquake reconstruction in Myanmar is challenging. Currently, we are moving to the second stage of rescue operation, focusing on helping displaced church members, their communities and bible seminaries in needs, arranging temporary housing and foods. Fundraising target: US$50,000.

The needs are great, and we are doing everything we can to help. However, we cannot do it alone. On the journey to recovery, we hope your participation will bring light to the brothers and sisters in Myanmar. Your contributions will not only help rebuild their churches and schools, but also restore their faith and hope.

Please keep Myanmar in prayer:

Pray for those who have lost loved ones in the disaster and are struggling for survival. Your offering will be used entirely on post-earthquake restoration, supporting disaster victim in rebuilding their churches, refugee centres and student centres.
Pray for peace and an end to all conflict and violence in Myanmar, so that the rescue efforts and support can be fully delivered to disaster victim,

Featured Prayer Initiatives

1. Online prayer meeting : Come together in our weekly online prayer meeting! Intercessors are welcome by using Mission Pathway prayer guide. Once a month, we invite a missionary to share his/her stories and testimonies. For those who are interested, please feel free to contact us：

2. Prayer feature in PPT : We help to lead the prayer meeting connectable and reachable! By using our prayer feature in PPT, leading prayer meeting for missions become exciting and concentrating.

3. Mission Pathway prayer guide youth edition: Our youth edition of Mission Pathway prayer guide is soon to be published in Chinese language. The stories contained in each issue help expand the Christian youth's world view and spark the acquisition and development of praying skills for mission.

4. Mobilization in missions: We are a part of the missions mobilization to the church. Occasionally, we visit churches to train and inspire the congregation to have deeper prayer for mission. We hope our publications speak into the life of the congregation and stoke the missions flame.

5. Caring ministry: We partner with frontline workers to provide emergency funding through the compassionate care fund for pastoral families and refugees in need.

6. Children's Missionary Prayer Ministry: The MP children's podcast started in 2023, with two episodes update weekly. We use the simplest and easiest language in the podcast to reach children. Our storytelling helps children to understand the unreached people groups.
